Below are some notes based on the current layout of v1 publicious for IHeartSea:

Feedback

Top nav tabs are scalable and work well on various screen sizes

The image associated with each landmark is also a nice touch

All content types and sortings should be in the center (blog posts, comments and twitter feeds, they can just be sorted with tabs with the most recent content always sitting at the top)

Right and left sidebars can be used for supplemental information around the community
